Zelda: Skyward Sword

Added by Devonbolster"It'll come in about four days," he said, "but you can buy a reservation spot for the game when it comes in."
Barely containing my excitement, I purchased it, thanked him, and left.
Once the four days had passed, I returned to the store. Thank goodness it had come in! Giving the cashier my reservation card, I got the game and anxiously ran home. I could not wait to play this game.
As soon as I got home, I inserted it into the Wii, sat down on the couch, and started the game.
There was no introductory scene.
Instead, I had found myself in the Sparring Hall. An instructor was there, but... he had no mouth. I tried to speak to him, but a dialogue popped up.
"Try again later."
Confused, I decided to walk into a door at the side of the hall. When I entered, I saw a blue chest. There was a sword inside. Then the screen began to fade to black.I must say, this was not what I had expected for this game.
I ended up at some place in Skyloft, near a bridge. It was illuminated by the moonlight, but I saw no stars accompanying the bright moon. I could see my Loftwing further down a path leading to the bridge.
However, when I reached my Loftwing, it did not seem right. It was missing its eye and one of its legs. It looked right at Link, as if it could see him with its empty socket.
As if this had affected Link, he involuntarily turned around and jumped off the ledge, killing himself. I could not control his movement.
No sound played.
When I had been revived, I was back in the same area... but it seemed to be glitching. No matter how far I ran along the path, it never ended. Eventually, becoming annoyed, I decided to take a break from the game. I reached over to turn off the Wii.
Before I could do so, a message popped up on the screen.
"Please, don't leave. I'm having fun! Watch your back..."
Then it faded to white, until Link was standing alone in a sea of white. I took out my sword; whatever enemy was doing this could still be out there. I sat back down and continued further into this unexplainable game.
When I was returned to the path I was at previously, I began to try to find out what was causing this whole thing. Strangely, at some points in time, the game would not give me the option to use my sword, or I would not be able to go to a certain place. When I did try, a message would pop up.
"Nice attempt, but I control the game."
I could only sigh at this. It came to the point of frustration, where I resorted to calling a friend of mine who I knew had bought the game as well. However, all I got was her voice mail. I decided to leave a message, hoping she had just missed the phone and would call back in a few minutes.
She did not call back until three hours later. After a short conversation, I told her that I would be on my way. When I got to her house, I inserted the game into her Wii and we began playing. However, when she played it, nothing weird happened. It... was normal.
I realized something was not right. I did not want to tell her, she would think I was making it up. I told her I had to go and we should try to meet again another time.
As I left, all I could think about was the game.
Was it me?
Was this a message?
Was this just hackers messing with my game?
I could not come to a conclusion. I would try to dig deeper.
Upon returning home, I remembered that I had already shut the TV off. I decided to get some rest; I was too exhausted to turn the TV on and play the game again. I crawled into my bed for a quick nap, before I would look at the game again.
However, as I was sleeping, I swear that I heard my name being repeatedly called, and... and I saw things that I could not even describe. It was a terribly vivid nightmare. It was the kind of one where I knew I would need therapy to figure it out, but I could not bring myself to go. They would think I was insane... all this because of a glitchy game... I tried to play the game again after I woke up.
I had no choice.
I had to know what was going on.
As soon as I inserted it into the Wii, the game froze. I thought it had gotten scratched from the trip to my friend's house somehow. Yet, before I could take the game out, another message popped up.
"Nothing here today. Leave."
It shut off by itself.
I ran over to my friend's house again. She was not home.
When I returned home I tried to pre-occupy myself to stop thinking about the game... reading, sleeping, even looking out the windoe. It was nearly impossible. I kept seeing things... shadowy figures..
I could not take it anymore. I got up and played the game. It froze as soon as I selected my file. I kept trying to play it again and again. Each time there was a different message popping up.
RUN.
HIDE.
DIE.
I listened.
