When we first started the Writer's Showcase, it was intended as somewhere for authors to bring attention to those works of theirs which had "slipped through the cracks", and were greeted to the site with little fanfare. Anyone can post their stories to the showcase, and we hoped it would be a popular destination for readers looking for new content, but unfortunately it's become somewhat stagnant. We had originally intended to automatically display threads on the front page, and I've finally gotten round to writing a script to do this.

TL;DR: If you see an error about an extension hook, your edit is being prevented by our Abuse Filter because it seems like it violates our rules on Blacklisted Subjects. If you don't think your page violated our blacklisted subject rules, you can report the filter's false positive and ask for your story to be included on the wiki by going to this page and filling out an appeal. Thank you.

This contest has created some great work, and I'm really happy with the enthusiasm that everyone has showed. Another massive thanks goes to the judges, , , and , who ensured that this contest succeeded, and the head judge , who has effectively organised this entire thing. Hello again! You may recall, during October, we held a contest to rewrite Jeff the Killer. After some slight delays, the top five pastas have been selected by our judges. Before I start, I'd like to extend a massive thanks to , who has really taken the reigns with regards to judging the contest. Without him, I'm certain we wouldn't have been able to make this work. Additionally, thanks to all the other judges: , , and .
