It seems like every other day, a ". exe" pasta is submitted to the site. While the setting and characters of the stories aren't the same, isn't the plot always centered around the narrator finding a weird file on their computer and then realizing it's full of gory images and cryptic messages?

Since when has ". exe" been such a fad? Perhaps its influence comes from the Sonic.exe pasta, but I'm just speculating.

My question to you is, when will this trend become a problem? Is it already a problem?

It's perhaps obvious that people have been sending truly-awful pieces of writing to the site since its existence. And as it may also be obvious, admins and users are looking to either fix or delete these abominations. Despite the fact that we promote good writing, there are always stupid people who don't understand how the Internet works. Rather than list the offenses these morons throw at us, I've taken the liberty to write (very short) stories based around them. Of course, I'll never use EVERY offense that comes up, so these stories will only be made by the stuff that's the most reoccuring, as of today.

I'm at the end of my rope with the way titles are treated. It's disgusting. If you're going to publish a story here, you better have a title that represents, showcases, and gives an over-all summary of your literature. Since there's always going to be issues with titles on this site, I've decided to leave some tips here for you to consider:

• If the title you want has already been used, then DON'T FREAKING USE IT. Plain and simple. I've seen pastas on here that end with periods, or spelled entirely in lower-case letters (and very rarly, upper-case) [e.g. "The Red Room" and "The red room"]. The English language is abundant with words and combinations of those words; CHOOSE SOMETHING ELSE.
• Capitalization is so freaking important in titles. Howev…

It has come to my attention, while swimming through our lucious image galleries, that several people have been uploading pictures of real dead people, whether they were hanging from a tree in a Japanese forest of mass suicides or laying in the street of a recent massacre.
