Hello to anybody who reads this! I've been working very hard on a personal project that I just finished not long before the time of this post!
Last Halloween, a group of friends and I who formed a filmmaking club released the short film Asleep, a retelling of the CreepyPasta tale Jeff the Killer. Just a few moments ago, I posted the film rewritten into a short story. Due to rules on the wiki regarding previously existing Pastas, I can't post it here; not to complain, I've seen lots of garbage that those rules are helping to filter out! If you'd like to read it, you can head to my website; jgutzstorytime a weebly extension, or the creepypastanetwork forum. However I'd like to take a moment to talk with you about what I did and why I did…Read more >
So, that nightmare creepypasta never really panned out, huh? I completely forgot what I was going to do with it actually, lol. But it's been a long couple of months, and I have been a boss. You should check out B6WritersBlock on YouTube, we're doing some very interesting stuff in relation to creepypastas, and we'd hate for anyone to go to sleep before they got a chance to check out our work.
I digress, I've been working on stories on my blog, although I can't advertise it here cause I'm not sure how that falls into the links to external sites rule, there are a few I can bring on here because; well they are creepypastas. I also started doing readings, vlogging, and of course, YouTube gaming as a hobby. You can also check me out on CPN, wh…Read more >
So I just released a teaser on my YouTube channel for a film I'm doing. margurkatyberius if you want to check it out, but that's not the point. The point is I wanna start doing Creepypasta movies more often. They are FUN. I'm looking around to find ones that are doable on my budget, entertaining, and I can get permission for. People don't check their talk pages enough!
I'm trying to get permission from someone who doesn't seem to have logged in since December, so if anyone in the community wants me to adapt their creepypasta into a short, please tell me the story title and I'll read it and figure out if I can do it!Read more >
I have a considerable obsession with the Slenderman mythos and for that reason have studied the being in unnecessary detail when considering it is a completely made-up mythological being. However, for those as interested in it as me, here is a blog in which I detail everything I learned from my research, and in no small part to prepare everyone for the movie I am making.
Slenderman is a mythological being, identified by its adoption of regal garbs for the appropriate time era, long slender inhuman limbs, tendrils that serve as primary appendages, and most importantly of all, a complete lack of facial features.
Slenderman seems to prey upon children, with reports as to what happens with these children remaining inconsistent. Most go missing…Read more >
I created this blog entry because I mention in my about me section that my story The Night I Chose to Remember is based on true events. While this is true, I stumbled across some information that may explain a part of that story and bring peace to not only me, but those I may have scared with it:
During REM sleep sleep the body paralyzes itself as a protection mechanism to prevent the movements that occur in the dream from causing the physical body to move. However, this mechanism can be triggered, before, during, or after normal sleep while the brain awakens. This can lead to a state where the awakened sleeper feels paralyzed. Hypnagogic hallucination may occur in this state, especially auditory ones.
My guess is that I was asleep and someh…Read more >
