Ok, this is my first experiment. Lavender Town.

Since I was a little kid, I was always afraid of Lavender Town and the music that was played. I would usually go through the town as fast as I could to get out of it.

The creepypasta goes like this:

Lavender Town The Town That Kids Fear

'''The Lavender Town Syndrome was a peak in suicides and illness of children between the ages of 7-12 shortly after the release of Pokémon Red and Green in Japan, back in February 27, 1996.'''

'''Rumors say that these suicides and illness only occurred after the children playing the game reached Lavender Town, whose theme music had extremely high frequencies, that studies showed that only children and young teens can hear, since their ears are not fully developed.'''

'''Due to the Lavender Tone, at least two-hundred children supposedly committed suicide, and many more developed illnesses and afflictions. The children who committed suicide usually did so by hanging or jumping from heights. Those who did not acted irrationally complained of severe headaches after listening to Lavender Town's theme.'''

'This has gotten me interested in experimenting about this mysterious tune that exists only in the old versions of the game.'

'Of course getting the game was difficult. I went through Ebay, Amazon, etc. trying to find a copy. I had my unamed friend helping me with this search and after a couple of days he contacted me, apparently a Japanese man had a version from his uncle, who was friends with a worker from the game company. I visited his house, which was full of different collectables from the past.'

'I asked about the game and he warned me about it. I told him that I knew about the stories and I was going to analyse the game. He gave it to me freely, telling me that I had to give it back when I was done. I agreed and left.'

'I arrived home and went straight to my computer where I messaged my friend to come over with his sound equiptment. He arrived after 2 hours and we set up the equiptment by my computer. My friend then carefully insterted the game into a special machine that i will not mention here (He is a professional) and brought up on my computer, all the sound files in the game. I grabbed the Lavender Town tune and placed it on my Ipod. We then returned the game.'

'It was time to start the experiment.'
