As I’m sure many of you know, I suffer from the psychological disease lycanthropy, which is, more or less, a form of madness involving the delusion of being transformed into an animal, usually a wolf, with correspondingly altered behavior, under certain conditions, such as a full moon.
My full moon most often being red wine; and, I must admit, I’m feeling a bit hairy.
Anyway, I’m outlining a few stories involving the transformation of man to beast and I’m wondering, what are your favorite werewolf myths, stories, movies, games, etc?
Any Werewolf the Apocalypse players out there?
Are there other narratives, modern or ancient, that correspond to this concept, be they Wendigo or Smile Dog?
What does the idea of werewolf mean to you?
