Okay, so, I really think that, for me, Creepypasta is the new generation's Weird Tales.

For those of you who don't know, Weird Tales was a pulp magazine that ran from the 20's to the 50's. H.P Lovecraft, Robert E Howard, Robert Bloch, Ray Bradbury and a butt-load of other horror, sci-fi, pulp action and thriller writers.

To me, a good deal of these stories.....the not-shitty ones anyway, are modernized a bit, but a good deal of them feel like the classic era horror. Which is good. I mean, can't you just see Slender Man fitting in with the Elder Things? Or the DogScape going well with Clive Barker's Books of Blood? Or NormalPornforNormalPeople fitting in with the Slatterpunk of the 90's?

So, my writing style (I hope) reflects this. I want to make Weird Tales for this site. I wanna do pulp horror and oddly creepy stories. I wanna return to the classics when I can and I hope that comes through in my writing and I also hope that more people follow this idea too.

I mean, it's not like this generation hasn't started to return to the past generations, right? So why not do some good old-fashioned Pulp?
