You know... I just realized something.

There's this particular book series that I like, and one of its books had a notable point made in it.

In said book, this elderly man speaks to Lewis, the main character.

This man- whose name I have forgotten- tells Lewis that humans are peculiar creatures.

He said to him something to the effect of,

"Humans are what they think they are. If they think they are dumb, they become dumb.

If they think they are ugly, they become ugly."

I entirely understand this claim.

I realize how true it is.

Or, rather, I try to believe....
