Hello! Yeah, it's me. That person who is pretty much never around, and hasn't posted a thing because she is so scatterbrained that she can't focus on one idea. What? You don't know who I am? Don't worry, that makes sense. Anyhoo, I'm here now because I have a question. I'm afraid that this question might sound stupid to the regulars around this wiki, but on the other hand, I'm afraid of what will happen if I follow through with my idea without first asking the question. Here goes...

I do have an idea for a Creepypasta. Whether or not I will be able to remain focused on it has yet to be seen. Anyway, I'm wondering: is it alright to take a myth/monster (either well known or obscure), and modify it/add to it in order meet one's creative writing needs? This is a question that is seriously bugging me, and I would really like it to be answered. Ok, thanks, c'ya.
