I think the curse of the writer is to have too many ideas rather than too few. You think about things that could work in a given context and fall in love with some of them so much that you try to make them work in whatever you are currently writing.
I for one, really love slice of life stories. I love creepypasta and horror fiction that can include that element to it. I feel more attached to a character if I feel like I know this person, which is just good writing 101. That said while I like to linger in the world the reader may not. There's a balance that has to be struck between what I want the character to go through and what actually works on a story level.

Seem to have hit a lurch. Last two stories were deleted.
I'm not contesting either of these. They're not really worth my time to contest for one thing and for another I happen to respect the fact that the Admins are trying to keep the riff-raff out so to speak, lol. Plenty of my stories have been published on here, so I know I it's nothing personal (Emp has actually been really cool with me especially in overturning the one story that I DID contest getting removed, helping me find a place for another one that got deleted, and as I noticed recently banning some dude who tried to take credit for my work (on The Baptism).) So my profile pretty much gives a decent capsule review as far as my writing endeavors, but if you are reading my blog I assume that you want to know more. These reasons are, I'm sure, best known to yourself and are hopefully benign, but even if they were malignant there isn't a whole lot that I could do to stop you. Welcome to the interwebs. As I'm sure you will have picked up on, I have a bizarre if somewhat esoteric sense of humor, but it's usually self-effacing. The fact that I love to make people laugh may not mesh well with a horror writer, but horror isn't all I do.
