THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. Now, you're probably wondering why I just thanked you. Well, let me explain.
You see, recently, there have been a ton of reboots, most of which are not very good. However, you successfully managed to reboot a toyline, and do it superbly. I am, of course, talking about BIONICLE. Honestly, I was a bit worried that you might screw it up. It wouldn't be hard to do. But no, you're actually doing it pretty well. So, kudos.
However, that doesn't mean there are some issues. I'd like to take a moment to address them. First, the names. The first BIONICLE had such unique names, like Toa, Matoran, Makuta, Piraka, Barraki, Turaga, need I go on? It added a bit of flavor to the story. With the new BIONICLE, we have Masters and Protectors and Skull Spiders. Those names really don't have the same unique feel to it. So, for the next line of BIONICLE, try adding names that are a bit more...different.
Also, let's talk about the Skull Spiders. When I first heard that the villain of the new BIONICLE would be a guy called "The Lord of Skull Spiders", I had hoped that was a mistranslation (the name was leaked from some Russian website). But no, we have a Lord of Skull Spiders, and Skull Spiders in general. I have to say, that just sounds stupid. Can we have no cooler sounding or more menacing foes for our heroes than Skull Spiders? This is BIONICLE, guys! Why not call them Skull Visorak or something? I mean, the Visorak were spiders. Or do you want the only ties to the previous BIONICLE to be Tahu, Gali, Onua, Kopaka, Lewa, Pohatu, and Makuta? Whatever. Hopefully, these Skull Spiders are just this version's version of Rahi.
Anyway, other than those complaints, I have to say you're doing a good job here. You're doing pretty well in capturing the feel of 2001, especially with those animations you guys have. And you're bringing back gearboxes!
Ah, the nostalgia.
Anyway, keep up the good work, and consider my critiques, ok?
