Hey guys. Creeper50 once again! Today, we are going to learn about The Deed. Woo hoo!
The Deed is a game where you play Mr. Bruce, who lives in Scotland in the year of 1945. The Dunshiel house's current owner, your father, has disinherited you from the Dunshiel property in favor of your deranged sister. You must commit the deed (hence the title) of "removing her from this gastly equation."
This is a short game, which is why it only costs one dollar. I bought it off of steam for those of you who want to check it out. The gameplay revovles around making dialogue choices that affect how you're percevied prior to the murder. Additionally, you have to decide what weapon to use. Choose the wrong weapon, and you may not have enough time to get away before someone finds the body of your sister. Also, you have to decide on carrying items that can be planted before commiting the murder to suggest someone else did the deed or that your sister commited suicide.
(Spoilers ahead!) The game is rather depressing, mainly with the clever tone of the text describing what ending you got. Even if you suceed, the ending will still read "You spent many sleepless nights roaming the halls of your now empty house, its emptiness reflecting whta you have become inside. Hallow."
So yeah, this is the game. You are free to check it out, and in the meantime, tell me what games there are on steam like this one, and what did you like about this game and how do you think it could improve? Creeper50, out.
