The US category is how I plan to identify what pages are on the User Submissions and categorized as OC and which ones are categorized as OC and not on the Submissions page.
It's a lot simpler than looking at two massive lists each month or so. Since no other admin had decided in the many months I was fussing about the OC and Submissions issue, I want to hear no complaints that I spent 7 hours a few weeks ago and over 9 hours straight working on categorizing all pages on the User Submissions as US (and OC where needed).
Now I can take the US category and check it against the OC category. And now, for next months and months thereafter, I can look at all the pages on the User Submissions, mark the new OC pages there with US and compare the US/OC categories for an easier ride.
The following are the fruits of my 9+ hour labor, no sleep, barely anything to eat, and NO COFFEE (T_T):
Pages in category "US" The following 200 pages are in this category, out of 1,083 total.
Pages in category "OC" The following 200 pages are in this category, out of 1,258 total.
TOTAL NUMBER OF PAGES CATEGORIZED AS OC BUT NOT ON THE USER SUBMISSIONS PAGE: 175 pages.
One hundred and seventy-five pages.
Now that I have spent these nine-plus hours, I get to spend more hours tomorrow comparing the lists, removing the OC categories from 175 pages, leaving notification messages on 175 pages, finding out who failed to add their pages to the submissions page, and warning them.
AND I GET TO DO THIS ALL BY MYSELF. GOD FORBID SOMEONE ACTUALLY WANT TO HELP ME WITH THE EASY PART OF ALL THIS WORK EVEN THOUGH I HAD BEEN ASKING THEM TO.
I'm beyond frustrated and this is why I am setting up a system I can easily maintain. By myself...
...y'know. Since not a single solitary soul has helped with this issue since bringing it up months ago.
175 pages are categorized as OC but are not on the User Submissions page.
