Hi Everyone! I'm a 25 year old lady who really enjoys to read and write. My writing is usually inspired by real life, particularly "unsolved mysteries". I tend to write longer stories, but I'm challenging myself to write some shorter submissions.
I have been creeping on this wiki for a while now. I enjoyed reading the submissions, and I really enjoyed the way the community interacted with one another. I never pursued my writing in a professional way, although it's something I've always been fond of doing. That's why I joined this Wiki. I wanted to get my writing out there in some way. So far, I've really enjoyed writing here. I like the feedback I'm receiving, and I appreciate everyone's consideration.
That being said, I do have some questions. I'm not sure if this is the right place to voice them, but seeing as it's "my blog" I figure it's a safe place to ask what is on my mind.
I'm loving the selective feedback I receive and the few comments I have gotten. However, I feel like my stories are falling (somewhat) into a black hole. I love knowing that I rustled up the courage to post my writing, but it is a bit disheartening to think that people are not reading it.
Is there some function I'm not utilizing that indicates if my story has been read? I'm not looking for comments or reviews, per se, but I would like to know that my work is at least being viewed. Any suggestions? Or am I missing something?
