Banning here to announce the top placers in the 2015 Demon/Devil Writing Challenge. It was very difficult choosing the winners, as all of the entries were very well written and all were a joy to read. It is safe to say that I enjoyed each and every entry, and in my opinion, they are all winners.
Before we get started, I want to thank AGrimAuxiliatrix1 for all of the help. His reviews and scores really helped me narrow down the winners, and I couldn't have done this without his help.
Now, time to get on to what everyone has been waiting for.
First, let's start with the Honorable Mention. This one goes to Doom Vroom for his story, The Endeavor. This was a very ambitious little read with a wit and sharp humor that I didn't see anywhere else in this contest. I highly suggest everyone check it out, as it is worth the read.
3rd Place goes to Wes craven for his story, From Hell I Write. This was a thrilling little horror piece that left me quite satisfied after reading it. It was one of those that really left me wanting more. Don't hesitate to check it out, you'll be glad that you did.
2nd Place goes to HumboldtLycanthrope for this story, The Number of Darkness. This story was genuinely disturbing with some amazing imagery and scenes so dark that you might need to read this one with a flash light. It was an edge of the seat read that kept me scrolling down. Check it out, but leave a night light on.
Finally, we come to the winner. Now, as I said before, I think all of these stories are winners. However, as they say on The Highlander, "There can be only one!"
With that said, 1st Place goes to Whitix for his story, There's Something Between the Gears. This story took creativity to a new level. I won't spoil too much here, but trust me, this story was a masterpiece.
Well, that wraps up the contest. Thanks again to Grim for helping me out here, and thanks to all the amazing writers that contributed to this challenge. Excellent work all around!
