I moved that up here, because that is why I wrote the blog post. I apologize for getting carried away with the "Jeff is badly written" comments.
I don't like the concept of Jeff the Killer - frankly, "disfigured serial killer" is overused - and the fact that the story itself is rather poorly written yet immensely popular gets to me. I wouldn't have so much of an issue with the quality of writing if Jeff the Killer hadn't become some sort of revered Creepypasta idol. If you are a huge JTK fan or are easily offended by reading about someone insulting someone else, do not read this. Also, if you don't want me ruining the "fun" of believing that Jeff is real, don't read on.
I am fully expecting someone to challenge the things I say, or to just st…

I wrote a sequel to my first pasta, but I have no idea how it turned out (I like it, but I wrote it). Would anyone mind having a look at it? (You don't have to comment, just tell me what could be improved besides the formatting.)

A link to the first pasta is at the top of that one, which you may want to read for backstory. It can sort of stand alone if you think of it as a "not-being-given-all-the-details" pasta.

Let's get one thing straight that my supposed "spam" blog post failed to illustrate (did the other text not show up on it? I guess not).
Creepypastas are not real.
Some may be exaggerations of real events, but most are completely fictional.
I'm going to break down some of the better-known pastas:
Jeff the Killer
That picture on the right was supposed to go with my "spam" blog post (if blog posts are personal, how exactly are they spam? Why are blog posts not strictly tied to someone's personal profile?). Do you see that? It's the bulk of most Jeff the Killer "evidence."
It is a mop, leaning against an old door, with a knife rather clumsily scotch-taped to it. (Pardon the state of my yard. I am currently in the process of constructing a pond. Alo…Read more >
That's right. I'm self-advertising.
Actually, to follow up my last post (that nobody read, not that I care, I only wanted the badge T_T), I want to see what people think of this:

That's a story. I wrote it. You should have a look and tell me if it's any good. I have better ones, but they're not done yet and I'm not sure I'll ever finish them.

I'm not a horror writer.
Don't get me wrong - I love creepypastas, and I love horror movies and things (the 80s and 90s had the best horror movies IMO; I love the 80s in general). But I cannot, for the life of me, create a feeling of suspense.
I like writing in general. I have a story called Branch on fictionpress.com, about a team of time travelling refugees from 2073, one of whom has taken it upon himself to become the assassin of the president in the past (this is an alternate universe, countries are still around but a lot of things are different). I'm not going to go give away the entire plot, but let's just say there are exploding tanks.
That should attract the general viewing base of SpikeTV.
My latest idea, however, has come from the de…Read more >
