I checked out some of narrations you tried for the others and I'm a big fan of your inflections! I think you'd be perfect for
Reflect, which is maybe 1600 words or so? I'm not quite sure how long, but its pretty short. It's not my best pasta, but I'm actually pretty surprised by how much your voice matches the voice I had in my head when writing that one.
I just read "Reflect", and I gotta say, the way you wrote that was brilliant. It just gave off this unsettling, almost desolate vibe. The best part is how you wrapped it up. I'd love to to get started working on a narration for it in the morning. From what you said, it seems like I'm meant to narrate it. Haha. Looking forward to seeing how it goes!
I'm very glad you liked it! I noticed and watched some of the video you uploaded for it today, I couldn't help but laugh at your depiction of "KEEP IT UP, JERRY" it was perfectly timed and said. You've been doing a good job with that sort of "disillusioned" voice and it really gave the reflect-guy some character that was honestly beyond what I wrote into it, and it was sort of fascinating, like experiencing my own story as some third party, unfamilar with it.
I've actually written a sequel to the story over the past couple of days. Something about this thread made me dig up and write some more of that idea. I'd appreciate it if you wanted to check it out, over at the writers workshop.
