I just wondered why. I’m a big fan of the SCP genre and Creepypasta alike, that’s why I’m asking.

There is an SCP wiki if you're interested.
As for not having them on the site, they're a violation of our Spinoff rule. As for reasoning, unfortunately a number of the SCP stories we were receiving had a lot of fundamental issues (a number were carbon copies of SCP-173, Shy Guy, or Keter classes or tended to be author's OCs disguised as SCP briefings.) As such, they were added to the list of stories that need to be approved via appeal before they were accepted on the site.
Of course I know there is an SCP wiki, why wouldn’t I? Anyways, thanks for the information, it was helpful. A bit sad with the copies, though.
If SCP pages were allowed, this wiki would probably get flooded with SCP drafts that got voted into deletion on the SCP wiki or new SCP writers wanting to get feedback on their SCP drafts here before posting on SCP. If SCP pages were allowed here, I would want at a minimum a rule against SCP wiki deletion refugee pages.
There's also the non-trivial issue of the gap in quality standards between SCP and Creepypasta Wiki. That's not to rag on Creeepypasta Wiki, our quality standards here work for us on this site, the SCP community's standards work for them on their site, but it could cause feedback confusion and conflict if SCP pages were allowed here, even if it was just SCP authors making copies of their successful SCP pages the way NoSleep authors often post their stories on Creepypasta wiki after uploading on Nosleep. I would expect that if an SCP page were uploaded here shortly after being uploaded on SCP, there would be vastly different feedback coming from members of this wiki who are also heavily active on SCP wiki vs those who only have a general sense of what SCP is if even. And I think a speak for a lot of members from both camps when I say I'd rather not have the Recent Activity page of this wiki be clogged up with conversations that go something like this:
"Awesome story bro. Really creeped me out. You have a natural talent for writing."
"Actually, this is a pretty bad SCP all things considered. The upload of this on the SCP wiki is close to getting enough net downvotes to be deleted. The author should read more Series 2-4 SCP pages to get a better idea of what makes a good SCP."
"Who cares?? This isn't the SCP wiki. Some of us over here think it's good. It's not our problem that some of you guys over on SCP basically have a second life on the site so that your quality expectations are so ridiculously strict that no one who hasn't taken a college-level writing course can reasonably expect to make pages that don't get downvoted into oblivion."
"Well, whatever you think of the SCP community, the point is you're giving misleading feedback to the author here when you speak without even having a proper understanding of what Keter is. You're not being helpful to the author by giving feedback that will cause them to continue to upload substandard SCP pages on our site. If you want to write a creepypast about a monster like this being studied in a lab, that's fine, but don't make it an SCP and don't get mad when people from SCP criticize it for not being SCP-like."
"Hey, just want to chime in here. I'm not part of the SCP community and I also think this story is bad even as a creepypasta. Maybe I would appreciate it more if I was active on SCP, but why can't we just have SCPs be on the SCP wiki and creepypastas be on this wiki?"
etc, etc.
If only SCPs that were considered classic and had some preexisting recognition outside of the SCP community were uploaded here, such as SCP-173 (the first SCP) and SCP-049 ("the Plague Doctor"), that would be one thing, but I wouldn't want this wiki opened up as just a second place for SCP writers to upload their SCP pages.
Oh, I never thought of it like that. You’re very right, the two Fandoms have vastly different standards. For instance, I’m more accustomed to the SCP standards, I’ve been reading over there for a long time, and I’m new to Creepypasta. I’ve only read some of the classics here. I can see major differences already. And trust me, I wouldn’t want this Fandom corrupted by people coming here for tests to see if their draft was good. Thank you, that was immensely helpful.
I never really noticed that creepypasta.wiki and the SCP foundation were basically like two different camps, but it kinda all makes sense now. But I agree that it could be a problem, especially if, say, the fandom of one site goes around and causing issues with the "rival" site simply because they're writing style is different. This is, in my opinion, a pretty effective way of putting up an invisible, defensive wall guarding the two completely different communities from juvinial chaos.
i mean scp profiles kinda also just work pretty good on the scp wiki i think, in a way that wouldnt look or read as nice here
Long story short, the SCP Wiki exists to house those stories and we have no need to act as some kind of backup for them.
Short story long, anything by Dickens.
