I see him, every night. In my dreams. He is trying to kill me from the inside. I feel like I'm being eaten alive from the inside by the madness.

What madness? I am talking about myself.

I am the monster that you check under your bed for. I am the idea that see, but cannot control, every night before you go to bed. But some part of me, still denies giving in to the insanity that.

When this began, where it began, none of that matters. What does matter is why it began. Do you think beings like me are here naturally? We are here BECAUSE you fear us. Fear is a source for power. When you fear something enough, you eventually become that monster that you are afraid of.

Some would call this the "alter ego" or "split personality". It has haunted my dreams ever since I can remember. I have tried fighting it, for years. But needless to say... I have failed miserably.

This is contagious, believe it or not. Of course, it all goes by what YOU believe. The monster within has destroyed my conscience and created a new, morbid, one. It's only purpose being to tell my tale for others to hear.

Once others hear this, that's when they realize... That there is a form of madness... Of fear inside them. Then the next victim eventually emerges, vulnerable to manipulation. And so the cycle shall repeat.

Now comes the real test. Do you believe my story? Do you see truth in my tale and see you are just weak? Or do you only see this as some failed first-timer?

Either way, he sees how vulnerable now, and so do I.
