Never once was I scared to go to sleep in my room. Not once. Until I found out about the thing in my room that is. It was never there before...or was it? Could it be that it was there the time watching me sleep? or did just arrive to start harassing me and torture me and torture me until I finally went insane? I don't know.
All I know is that it's there and it's not leaving. I can't be sure what it is exactly but I do know that it is evil and wants nothing more than to turn me slowly insane by just hiding in my room somewhere. It hides in a different place each time and each time I get out of bed...it scares me. I remember this one time I was thirsty, so I got out of bed to get a drink so I set my feet down on the floor and...it reached out with dry scaley hands or claws, I don't even know if it had hands, and grabbed my ankles. It started to pull me under my own bed I screamed and kicked with all my might until my parents flew open the door too see what was wrong.
I tried to explain to them that I was being attacked by something and it tried to eat me. My dad just said I was having a bad dream and they sent me off to bed. But I knew it was there...waiting until the next time I got out of bed. I never quite see the thing but i know it makes terrible grunting noises in my room which keeps me awake at night. I think it does that on purpose to make me get out of my bed so it can try to pull me with it back to where ever it came from. But I never get out. During the day it disappears and goes somewhere, I don't know where but it does. I've tried to tell my parents but they won't listen they just say it's a dream and that I should stop worrying about it.
So from now on...I lay awake in my bed, listening to those horrible grunting sounds it makes and I hope...that someday...it goes away to bother somebody else.
