It was a cold winter day, three days after Christmas. 9-year-old Billy was playing with his new toys, a train set, a cork gun, and his favorite new teddy bear.

But, there was something wrong this holiday, because the same day that Billy got his teddy bear, was the same day that Tommy E. Duncan was executed for 25 accounts of murder, 15 accounts of arson, and 35 accounts of voluntary manslaughter.

As Tommy was strapped in the electric chair, he laughed in insanity and said, “Even if you kill me I will not die, I will come back and kill again, and again, and…”

Before he could finish, they pulled the switch and Tommy was electrocuted. But, he did not die. He laughed through the electrocution, and did not die, no matter how high the voltage was. So Tommy was hung, and died as soon as the rope tightened around his neck.

But Tommy kept his promise. Once Tommy died, his soul bled out of his body, and looked for a new one. In his search, he found a small house near the city, and inside was a lonely little teddy bear with no one playing with it… this was Billy’s bear. Just before Billy came into his room to play with the bear, like water to a sponge, the bear absorbed Tommy’s soul.

There was one problem, however, and that was that the bear was small, and had no life. But, Tommy fixed that. Once he was in the bear, it grew to the size of a grown man, the stiches ripped, one of the eyes started to fall off, and a wicked grin grew on the face of the bear. Billy came into his room to play with his toy, but found something else. He found a 5”6’ bear with a wicked grin and tears. Billy looked in horror and screamed, “Mom! Dad!”, and began to run toward the stairs. But, Tommy was too fast. He ran up behind Billy and kicked him down the stairs. Billy fell down the stairs and his head cracked in half.

Billy’s parents ran to the stairs to find their son dead at the bottom of the stairs, and as Billy’s mom began to cry, Tommy walked down the stairs and looked into her eyes and said, "I killed your son!" with his wicked grin.

Billy’s mother looked back into Tommy’s eyes and asked, “Who are you?”

Tommy replied with, “Teddy.”

Billy’s father grabbed Teddy, and punched him in the face as hard as he could, but Teddy wasn’t affected by it and started to laugh. He grabbed Billy’s dad by the throat, and Billy’s mom screamed “Bobby! No!” just as Teddy’s left paw started to grow three claws.

Bobby looked back at Billy’s mom and said, “Maria, Run!” before Teddy dug his claws into Bobby’s chest and ripped out his entrails. Maria started to cry as she ran for the door, but Teddy used Bobby’s intestines to lasso Maria right at her throat and began to walk up the stairs, slowly choking Maria as Teddy got higher and higher. Finally, she stopped breathing, and Teddy left the house laughing.

"Ahahahahaha!"
