Life is filled with many wonders.
That must be what you think of it.
Friends, family, and so much to give.
Emotions, like happiness and joy.
Smiles flashed by all, from an elderly man, to a small boy.
The ability to experience what is called "fun"
Playful grins are painted, as they hope for more to come.
Another sensation, most call it love.
The need to be with someone they are fond of.
Love can be a "wonderful" thing.
But it holds no magic, if that's what you're thinking.
Love is beautiful, that's how it's understood.
However, love only brings more bad than good.
From this arises sin and selfishness, such as lust.
A powerful force that burns even the most sacred bonds to dust.
This so called "love" also gives birth to anger.
Turning who they once were into total strangers.
And then there's adultery, faithlessness.
Leaving their partner for another out of sheer tastelessness.
It creates all sin, and no magic.
There is one thing, although most would consider it to be tragic.
The human's ability to permanently shut down.
Their souls lost, never to be found.
It is truly wondrous how one can go to sleep and never awake.
And their souls are left for all-seeing deities to take.
The magic of life itself is death.
It's your final breath.
Now, I need to make some magic happen.
