Here's a story from a couple years back.
I was at this yard sale with my sis, she was about four at the time. Anyway, she found this Dr. Seuss book called "The Cat and The Hat"; I was filled with nostalgia so I decided to buy it for my sister.
"Hey, how much does this cost?" I asked.
"That? Uh, well.... How about $20?"
I handed him the money and we headed home.
When it was around 8:00 PM my sister had go to sleep, but my dad decided to read the book to my sister. I was on my iPod in the room next to it, so I decided to listen. It was all normal; after he finished he closed the book, said good night, and left. I just kept playing on my iPod.
I went to bed around 12:00 PM and woke up around 1:00 AM, all I heard was a ticking noise outside my window. Then I heard my sister scream.
I ran in her room but nothing was there... I looked down to find a note written in a sharpie:
"Meet me downstairs..."
I was confused, but, I had to check. I ran downstairs and saw... him. He had soulless eyes, and a big red smile that stretched across his entire face. He was tall, and had black and white fur. He was wearing a red and white striped top hat. I was paralyzed staring at this thing.
He started to laugh with a loud squeaky voice and slowly his laughter turned into sobbing.
"Why are you trying to take her?" The monster said.
"What?! Who?" I exclaimed.
"Her..." He lifted his hat and a picture came out-- it was my sister.
I was paralyzed again.
The monster started to smile, and I was still crying.
He kept staring.
I ran, he screamed.
I had to save my sister.
The scream became louder and louder.
When the police came in,I tripped and fell down the stairs. I ended up with two broken legs, and passed out at the bottom of the staircase.
I woke up in a hospital.
They told me I was gonna be okay...But my sister had been sexually abused.
After a few tear-filled minutes, I had to take an interview to see who did it.
I get all kinds of nightmares now about what happened and we never found who that pedophile was.
If you saw something like this, please send me a message about what happened.
