if you watch the video on silent it's freaking hilarious (well, minus the little girl crying)...until the picture at the end, ugh. i seriously wish i never went to look back at it. f my curiosity.
for those of you who dont know it's some kind of raptor thing in a teddybear costume smiling at you. standing in someones basement.
but yeah when the skin taker guy just rases his arms and opens his mouth out of nowhere i lol'd.
That feeling you get when you wake up after a nightmare and feel someone watching you. You are sensing my presence. - IcyTreez 20:55, March 24, 2011 (UTC)

to whoever wrote this: >Implying children crying isnt hilarious
i'm not implying that crying children is hilarious. I said MINUS THE LITTLE GIRL CRYING.
I was implying that everything except the little crying girl was funny.

Fake
Edit
This show is fake, should we delete it?
(USER WAS BANNED FOR THIS POST)
A lot of things aren't real but are still well written and a bit spine chilling. I say keep it on this site, it's a pretty good pasta dude.

Should we delete it? Please tell me you are joking. This Creepypasta is one of the few great Creepypastas belonging to an already tarnished and soiled genre. It is a relic of what good, quality Creepypasta used to and should be. Deleting this would forever deprive future generations of the crisp piece of flash-fiction that is Candle Cove.
Yours truly,

Someone is complaining about a creepypasta being fictional? Seriously? SethOmega 21:00, May 15, 2011 (UTC)
Just a side note bro, I wasn't the one to suggest this page's deletion. the dude wasn't logged in or didn't leave a signature. I agree with chris.

The picture looks familiar....
Edit
Obviously, it's just a Creepypasta, but I recognize the faces on the picture from the article like I've seen them before. Does anyone know what they're actually from?
Candle cove - The story stirred up a bit of a cult following. You've probably seen stuff about it elsewhere. StabbyStab 21:45, June 17, 2011 (UTC)
Candlecove is an internet meme
Edit
I'm sorry to the creepypasta wiki founder for putting candle cove back on the memes category, but there's just 1 thing you should know, candle cove is a meme:the original blog post has been repeated multiple times on multiple other sites such as know your meme & scary for kids, there's a wiki on the "show" & I'm sure that it did exist, however it got cancelled because of the horrible skin taker & the infamous screaming "episode"
I liked this story. I enjoyed the ending of the static screen. Cool stuff. Linkotan 22:01, October 4, 2011 (UTC)
This is a fantastic story, but it has one major flaw with the way it was presented. Since all the people knew what it was, none of them would have describbed everything in such detail. You wouldn't see "Elmo, the red-furred short monster with the high pitched voice, taught oscar, the grouchy green monster that lives in the trash can, about sharing." on a sesame street forum. I'm not saying you shouldn't have described it at all, just put it like a blog post, emails, or some recounting of events.

Yeah...I love scaryforkids, by the way. It was where I first saw this story. Overall, it's really good. A classic. Can't stop reading it. This is my favorite next to Jeff the Killer/Go to Sleep and Squidward's Suicide (another "classic").

I am laughing at "3. FAKE." HAHAHA! See? I remember this one. Not the creepypasta. The show. Maybe it was a dream. But I remember it. And others do too. The cheapness, the strangeness, the screaming... the most memorable was the static. I remember something stranger yet. It was in 2000. 28 years after it was supposed to have ceased airing. I was watching TV at a friend's house with my parents in the room. I tuned into a channel they didn't get. (No cable or satellite.) It was just static of course, but you know how sometimes it picks up interference from other channels so you can see faint outlines or brief images? Well, that happened briefly, but after just seconds it cleared up. Then there was this show. I don't remember many details, I was rather young then. I recall the reception was bad, and sometimes I couldn't even make out the screen. Near the end, it cut to static, then black, with weird noises. Then back to static and it stayed that way. I changed the channel to something about porcupines until we left. I felt very strange. My parents could only sum up what I had been watching as "queer." Not as in gay, as in strange. They never mentioned it again, but I remember it. Regards, Someone Who Remembers
Me remembers dis show... T'was da funkeyist...

Added by WikiaBot Put the misspellings back
Edit
Hello,
I don't mean to be a dick about this, but I'm gonna be. Reading the entry, I see that someone has corrected all the misspellings in the last part of Candle Cove. I wrote Candle Cove to look like forum posts, and that includes misspellings! "mike_painter65" was supposed to be slightly older and less adept at using a computer. These people are from the poorer, more rural, mining areas of West Virginia. It's supposed to give it a little verisimilitude.
How hard is it to just copy and paste the story? Who took it upon themselves to "fix" how I wrote it? It's no better than the people who have added additional posts where the MONSTER OF CANDLE COVE or whatever reaches out of the TV and kills someone. Either you respect how I wrote it or you don't. Either it scared you or it didn't! Come on, guys.

What? Someone thought they should- Christ. I thought this story had been protected forever. Apparently I was the last one to edit it, so maybe it was my fault somehow. No, the intended effect of the misspellings isn't - I certainly hope - lost on the readership of this article; thank you for bringing the error to someone's attention. Orange puppet clip
Edit
I was watching the candle cove final episode and there was a clip with an orange puppet. I read that it was a realpasta which means it is probably from a real tv show. What tv show is it from? --SethDaigle 01:14, April 21, 2012 (UTC)
