The boy woke up in the middle of the night to go get something to drink. He pushed away his covers and sat on the edge of his bed. He examined his clock: 6:24 a.m. His family would be up soon to get ready for their family vacation. Daniel just couldn't wait to go to the Philippines. He scurried down the stairs, past the living room and into the kitchen for a glass of water. Once finishing the drink, he took a quick peek out the window behind the sink that lead a view of the woods.
He thought he might have been crazy, but he thought he could see a man with a black suit, red tie, and extremely long limbs that were almost to the ground. He felt fear start to take over his body, but when he blinked, all of a sudden... the man was gone. He started to get scared but then calmed himself down, and just thought to himself, "Everything's fine, there's no man outside my house..." He walked upstairs and went back into his bedroom.
He opened his dresser and started to pick out clothes for the vacation. He knew his parents were up now 'cause he heard the slow, early morning footsteps of his dad. He felt a sigh of relief that someone else was up. He got dressed and walked out of his bedroom into his parents bedroom. But when he opened the door, his parents were still asleep along with his sister. If his family was still asleep this whole time... Then whose footsteps were those? By this point Daniel was really scared. He walked over to his parents and shook them awake. "Mom, dad, wake up! It's time to get ready for vacation." His parents opened there wary eyes and slowly got out of bed. Daniel managed to calm himself down 'cause he knew everything was okay. His mom walked into Daniel's room and said, "Honey, I'm gonna brush my teeth then wake up your sister. We'll be leaving in about 30 minutes."
Daniel nodded and turned on his computer screen. He had to find out what was going on. He typed in on Google search "Tall man", and all kinds of results popped up. Something called "The Slenderman" popped up. It had described everything he had seen. A tall man, black suit, red tie, and inhummanly limbs that stretched almost to the ground. But before he could read any further, his mother swung his door open "Quick! We have to take your sister to the hospital! C'mon!" Daniel quickly turned off his computer monitor and rushed out of the door and into the car.
He sat in the back seat with his sister. He had been putting preasure on her arm. He took his hand off for a second. He couldn't really see what had happened to her arm, but he knew it was bad 'cause her arm was covered in so much blood.
"Hey... hey Daniel..?"
"Yeah?" Daniel replied.
"I saw him...."
She sat there for a second then replied "The tall man did this... He came in my room." At this point Daniel was shocked. He couldn't believe what was happening. He didn't wanna think about it right now, he just wanted to worry about his little sister. But he couldn't stop thinking about that man that was outside his house.
Once they got to the hospital, the doctors quickly got her up to care. And after 30 minutes, she was okay. She had to stay in the hospital until tomorrow though, so that meant they wouldn't be going on vacation till next week. That was okay though, Daniel was just glad that his sister was okay. They went up to her room and she was barely awake. She must've been tired after what had just happened. They all talked for a little while, then left. But before Daniel walked out the door, his sister called his name. Daniel couldn't stop thinking about what had happened. He just went home and went back to bed to try to forget all about it.
He woke up again around 9:54. Once again, he pushed away his covers and went downstairs. He sat down on the couch and flipped on the TV. He couldn't stop thinking about the nightmare he had.
In the nightmare, it was back at 6:24 AM. He went downstairs. This time, the man was in the living room. Just staring at him. He tried screaming, but something in his throat had stopped him. Then he blacked out. Then he was conscious again, which leads to now.
Daniel was just quietly watching his show, when he heard something outside from the back door. He quickly turned off the TV and just listened for a while. He looked at the reflection of the blank TV and saw it looking at him. He jumped out of the couch, ran all the way upstairs into his room and quickly locked it.
Now, it's been two straight days. He's just been sitting in the corner of his bed against the wall, looking at the door. He could see it on the other side of the door. He knew it was still there 'cause the hall light was still on. Finally, it went away. Daniel waited a few more mintues to make sure it was gone. Then he got up slowly, pried open the door to... Nothing. Nothing at all. His parents apparently hadn't been home this entire time 'cause he hadn't seen them this entire time. But he didn't care. He was just glad that the man was gone. But Daniel started thinking of past times of getting up in the middle of the night for something to drink. And always looking out that window. He now knew, that this... THING might now be gone. And he might not see him ever again.
But he knew now, that it wasn't the first time coming in contact with the Slenderman.
