An inky tendril emerged from the depths of the wood, searching hungrily for any source of outside life. Finding none, the limb rapidly retreated back into the mass of shadows that housed it and a tall, spindly figure appeared in its place.

The figure seemed male in appearance and wore an ordinary black suit. However, his proportions were wrong. He was too tall, too motionless, too stiff to be real. He turned his head, scanning for witnesses. His face – or lack of it – made itself apparent. No eyes, no nose, no soul, nothing. He only possessed one facial feature: a terrible grinning mouth with razor sharp teeth.

He turned his horrible face towards the house and bared his oral blades. Slowly opening the door, the man crept inside. Screams echoed throughout the forest, but not one soul heard the brutal sounds. For when the Slender Man seeks a debt unpaid for, he takes it in flesh and bone.
