The following Journal was found by the police of Virginia after there was a murder report filled out for Connor Johnson. Please read sensitively.
Journal Entry 1: May 5th, 1976
I'm having a blast on my trip! Mollie, Jack, Josh and me all sat around the fire tonight, and roasted hot-dogs! When I walked back to the tent, I found our zipper-door slashed open and the marshmallows gone, as well as all of our canned food and most of our water. We just presumed it was some raccoons and repaired the tent with duct tape. - Connor
Journal Entry 2: May 6th, 1976
This morning, we all got woke up by Jack. He said about 5 minutes earlier, he was getting dressed. A large, skinny, humanoid thing was staring at him. He said, "His eyes were a unearthly black. As black as the Marianas Trench at midnight."
He approached it, and it attacked him by slashing his arm with a claw. Then we saw something crawling into the bushes. It matched his description. It stared at me for a few seconds, and then ran into the forest. Mollie and Jack got scared and decided to go down to the bay.
Journal Entry 3: May 6th, 1976
I just woke up 2 minutes ago...
I saw someone dragging Mollie out of the tent. It's 11:32, and I’m the only one up. Mollie was covered in blood. That "Thing" had mauled her in her sleep.
I thought about approaching it and trying to save Mollie, but I knew she was already dead and I thought about what happened to Jack.
This time, I was able to take note of what it looked like. It had two large hands with claws that extended from them like daggers. They looked somewhat like throwing knifes.
It was roughly 6 feet tall, and you could clearly see it's spine coming out of it's back. It walked on all fours. It was defiantly humanoid. It then stared at me, sending a chill down my spine. It's howl simulated a human scream. It ran back into the forest. Josh and Jack were awakened by the howl. I explained what had happened. We then swore that we would avenge Mollie.
Journal Entry 4: May 7th, 1976
It's a cool, windy morning. We left the campsite to alert other people about the incident and we got the police to investigate the area. Mollie's remains were never found. They never closed off the area, either. Jack, Josh and I waited until we were more prepared to find the monster that we called "Slash" Because of it's dagger-like hands that slashed through anything.

Journal Entry 6: September 12th, 1976
We were prepared. We had vests, camouflage and hunting knifes. As we continued back to the campsite, all of us were nervous. We barley knew what to expect. We parked at the old campsite and set up our tent.
Journal Entry 7: September 13th, 1976
