The ghost of a white rabbit haunts the churchyard at Egloshayle in Cornwall. As far back as memory goes, it has been seen dashing between gravestones on nights of a full moon. Nobody seems to know the reason why. Several attempts have been made to catch it - none were more foolish than the man who tried to shoot it. So eager was he that he tripped and shot himself instead. Nowadays during the full moon at Egloshayle you may see two ghosts; the small white rabbit and the man who tried to shoot it.
