Gah, every single flippin’ creepypasta here contains Gen 1 or Gen 2. It’s rare you see your Platinum Team ruining your life for starting over everything you did with them or a Pearl Team undoing everything you did with Action Replay.
But this isn’t about either. This is about something new, and unoriginal. Yes kids, this is pretty much the 3rd Creepypasta made (from what I’ve seen) that Involves Pokémon Black and White.
If you got those games when they came out March 6, I know what you chose. Pokémon White, right? Because Zekrom looks SO. FRICKIN. BEAST.
Not me. No, I chose Black. You know how in Kindergarten-Highschool classes there’s always someone who’s different and thinks differently? And how you just ignore/insult them because they aren’t like you? I am that kind of girl. The whole world may have chosen Pokémon White (which according to the Polls section on the C-Gear, actually did happen), But I chose Pokémon Black for Reshiram. Because I think Reshiram is beautiful, besides the pingas-like tuft of fur—hey, stop laughing! It’s true! And because since I’m the only person I know who chose it, I’m going to be the only one who got the other Pokémon exclusive to Pokémon Black—which means my friends will beg me to trade them the exclusive Pokémon and I’ll just laugh at them in revenge for laughing at me for choosing Reshiram over Zekrom.
As it turns out, I’m not the only one who takes this thing seriously.
I had finally reached the point where I was supposed to catch Reshiram. I never actually got the Required Item, I think it was a White Orb, but I don’t know, because I never got it. Which was strange. But I didn’t care. Pearl or not, I was going to get Reshiram, right?
N stood in front of me. He said his programmed line, and up the Black Orb flew. High into the air, and Zekrom popped out. He stepped back, roared, and showed off his electrical power. YAWN. Skip to the good stuff. When he stopped being a flashy show-off, It was my turn… but I didn’t have the Pearl/White Orb. How would I summon Reshiram? I didn’t have time to question that, because a text box popped up, or in this game, a speech bubble. But It didn’t come from anyone in the room.
“There you are, you clumsy old mutt.”
Uhhhh…Zekrom isn’t a dog.
A Reshiram sprite slowly walked behind me, about as Slow as the Seven Sages. Another speech bubble came from Reshiram.
“Look what you’ve done. I’m patient enough to let you have your own game, and look what happens. You come in and hog all the attention. And how much appreciation do I get? Zero. Nada. Zip.”
This may have been the first time I’ve ever played this game, but I knew somewhere deep inside this was NOT supposed to happen.
“You should be Ashamed of yourself, N. ‘The Black Dragon Created Unova’. Uhhh, Yeah. But I helped.
You ruined my life, Zekrom. And now you shall pay.”
The Reshiram turned around to face my character. What she said froze me to the bed I was playing in.
“Please help me, Paula.”
And with that, a battle commenced. N’s introduction didn’t show. It just showed a Black Bar with Reshiram roaring and her tail lighting up. N’s theme didn’t play either. Instead it was a better sounding version of G/S/C Red/Lance Battle. But it wasn’t the HG/SS theme, I could tell.
Instead of just me in the beginning, it was me AND Reshiram’s Back-Sprite, sort of like when you are in a double battle with someone else. When the text box announcing a battle had started, Reshiram roared fiercely. N wasn’t normal. He just stood there, looking scared. My sprite was normal though, despite her frowning timidly. N sent out his first Pokémon, which to my surprise, wasn’t Zekrom. I sent out Esmerelda, my Serperior, or, as it’s Japanese name, Jalorda. I was pretty creeped out at this point, so I tried my best to treat it like a normal battle. But I couldn’t help the panic inside me.
I like to overlevel my Pokémon, because you never know what Gym Leaders will send out or use. And because of that ‘Reshiram’ and I swept through N’s team. At last, for his final Pokémon, he sent out Zekrom. I sent out Megan, my Krookodile, or in its Japanese name, Waruvial, knowing that electric is weak to ground. By this point Reshiram had taken a considerable amount of damage but Esmerelda had taken everything like a pro. The music faded out, and the screen cut to black. In 3 seconds time Reshiram came back, and a text box did too.
“Zekrom… you stole everything from me. My appreciation. My fans. My people. My everything. And now… I’m nothing. If no one cares, if I don’t matter… then what’s life worth living for? I’m sick of what you’ve done, and I’m NOT going to put up with it. Let’s play school, like back when we did while we were young and Arceus had just created this world. Today…We are going to learn how it feels to be nothing because no one cares.”
The screen came back to the battle, but only Reshiram was there. What came after that almost made me scream.
“Reshiram used Revengeful Fury!”
Zekrom went completely Black, and then turned white. What seemed like a Red version of brine then came from Zekrom’s body, and I knew what it was- blood.
“Zekrom has died!”
A status box (like the ones you see in battle when your Pokémon is paralyzed or burned) appeared on Zekrom’s little HP bar, which was empty, and said “DEAD” on it. A screechy distorted Zekrom cry played, and Zekrom fell.
A speech bubble came from Reshiram.
“I’m sick of being left behind in your shadow."
