I covered my nose with my scarf. It was winter time back in my home town of Pallet. Quickly, I ran out doing errands for my witch of a sister, Claire. That’s when I first met it. Ho-oh. Its majestic beauty baffled me and left me speechless.

"I must catch it." I said to myself quickly

In a flash I sent out my Pidgeot and flew, trying to track the trail of this being.That’s where it went all wrong...

I flew for hours and hours with no sign of it. I stopped off at Lavender town. That’s when I realised, it’s the one year anniversary of my first, and faithful companion Charizard's death. Tears ran down my cheeks when I realised I was on my own, Pidgeot had disappeared.

The atmosphere changed to an eerie and extraordinary thing. I checked my belt, only 5 of my 6 Pokémon were there. There was Dragonite, Emboar, Garchamp, Gyarados, Exeggutor... my pokeball for Pidgeot was gone. I looked around shivering from the cold breeze flowing around me.

In a rush, I ran to the fields searching for my Pidgeot.

"LEAVE! OR SUFFER!"

My heart raced. Where did that strange voice come from? I looked around frantically.

"It must have been my imagination" I thought to myself trying to calm down.

Suddenly, a wild Koffing appeared. Phew wee! The gas coming from it stunk!

"Go Dragonite! Use Slam!

A critical hit! However Koffing was still standing... well, hovering, with no scratches on it. It glared at me before vanishing into thin air. I got Dragonite pokeball tring to recall it. But my Dragonite didn't go back into its pokeball.

"Dragonite! Return!" I yelled, trying to get its attention.

The Dragonite turned around, its eyes were bleeding and the pupils were gone. My heart was pumping as I panicked. 'What happened to my Dragonite?' I thought, scared.

It used Agility and raced towards me, looking it was about to attack when it suddenly vanished into thin air. Overwhelmed, I fainted.

I woke up back in Pallet Town and quickly checked my belt. 4 Pokeballs - Emboar, Garhcamp, Gyarados, and Exeggutor. Even up to this day I do not know what happened to my Dragonite and Pidgeot...
