In late November of last year, I downloaded a torrent by the name of "Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 [SPECIAL EDITION]". I didn't think much of it, I figured it to be a different version, like a developer's mod or something.

It wasn't.

The torrent finished and I installed the game. I opened it and it all sounded very off. The usually happy and joyful music turned to sad, twisted, dark and deep music. The usual loading screen had sad, upset people and characters. The characters were sitting in puddles of blood. They were crying. I reluctantly opened up the new file.

I was relieved to see that the sad faces and blood were gone. I stared at the screen for a second. Nothing was wrong with this version, nothing at all. The music was back. So I played for an hour or two, and saved my game. I left and shut off the computer..but I still heard that twisted music. I shrugged it off and decided to just let it be.

The next day, I turned on my computer again. But the loading screen was..weird..I had those characters on my desktop. They were staring at me. Kinda like those things called Shimejis, you know, the little animated characters that run around and play on your desktop? But these weren't like the ones I had, they were the RCT3 characters. And they didn't move. They had black, soulless eyes. They stood there, staring at me. They were covered in blood. I started up RCT3, thinking it was some glitch.

I regret doing that to this day.

The game loaded without missing a beat, while usually it takes some time to load. I nearly vomited at the sight I saw on my screen. There were pictures of children. Killed. Brutally murdered. There was a young girl, no younger than ten, she had her eyes ripped out and shoved in her throat. Her brain matter was splattered all over the ground, I nearly vomited. I clicked the "X" button at the top..and more pictures came up. There were crying, twisted sounds coming from my computer. I tried to mute the sounds, but they got louder. The pictures were getting worse.

I took my computer out that day. I shot at it with a shotgun three times. After I'd blown the damn thing to bits, I swear I heard some of that same music.

It still haunts me to this day. So please..when you download some RCT3 torrent or game..be careful..because you just might find that version again.
