Today was a pleasant sunny day, and a faint breeze was in the air. The air itself was crisp as it brushed through Fluttershy’s feathers. She was due to meet Pinkie at Sugarcube Corner in a little while, so she had decided to get there early. She leaned against the building as she waited for the pink earth pony to come bouncing in. She inhaled the fresh breeze for a second, before being snapped awake.
“Yay, you’re here!!”
Fluttershy almost fell from her initial shock when Pinkie came in out of nowhere. The pegasus pony regained her balance and calmed herself down.
“Pinkie, you sure startled me.”
The party pony bounced up and down in delight.
“Sorry about that! I’ve just been so excited about what we’re going to do today I forgot that you’re shy and everything when I jumped in! Rainbow Dash is waiting for us, so we can’t wait a minute more!”
Fluttershy’s eyes snapped open at the mention of the speedy pegasus pony’s name. Neither herself nor anypony else had seen her since Pinkie had invited her over.
“That’s wonderful, Pinkie. R-Really. What are we g-going to do today?”
“I can’t exactly tell you, but it involves butterflies!!”
Fluttershy jumped for joy. Pinkie was surprised at first; Fluttershy was normally so shy that she hardly had any outbursts like this before.
“That’s wonderful, Pinkie! What kinds?”
“I can’t really tell you, you have to eat this first before I can take you there!”
The pony held out a cupcake with a layer of blue frosting, before a coat of rainbow nearly hid it. Fluttershy popped the goody in her mouth and chewed slowly. The cupcake itself was red inside. The yellow pegasus pony thought it was nothing more than a red velvet cupcake. However, she noticed it was a bit liquidy, like there was syrup or something inside, but she shrugged it off. It tasted like any other Pinkie Pie cupcake; delicious. She swallowed the pastry, and smiled at the pink pony, who bounced up and down with a big smile plastered on her face.
“Now, c-can we go see those butterflies now, Pinkie?”
“You have to go to sleep first! You won’t see them until the end!”
Fluttershy was confused, and then quickly dozed off, collapsing on the floor.
When she awoke, she found herself in a dark room, with hardly any light. She feels like she’s lying down, so she tries to lift her hooves, but finds that she can’t move. Her wings are pulsing with a pain unlike any other she had felt before. She turned her head to both directions, and saw her wings held flat on a metallic surface by hooks that pierced the limb holding the feathers. When she tried to move them, her back itched with pain and she squeaked, trying not to cry out. Her neck and hooves were held in place by leather restraints, so she could not move an inch. She laid her head back on the hollow surface she was laying on, and sighed. She heard hooves coming towards her, so her ears automatically perked up. She opened her eyes and came face to face with Pinkie.
“Goody, you’re awake! Now we can turn the lights on!”
The party pony skipped over to a dark corner, and flipped a switch. The room enlightened by the bright lights hanging from what appears to be skulls on the ceiling. There were chairs and a table across the room made out of bones, and the centerpiece was a bunch of filly skulls painted with the brightest of colors. The tablecloth was made of a pony’s hide, and organs inflated with helium were tied to the backs of the bony chairs. Streamers of intestines lined the room. A banner made of tanned pony hide was to Fluttershy’s left, and blood smeared across it read “LIFE IS A PARTY.”
But what caught her eye was Rainbow Dash. She was sitting in one of the chairs. She didn’t move an inch. Fluttershy squinted her eyes, and saw stitches on her neck, as well as on her wings. Her eyes were closed, and she slouched over, as if she had fallen asleep. Pinkie noticed the frightened pegasus’s gaze.
“Oh, Rainbow Dash has gotten so bored she’s fallen asleep! Too bad she’ll never wake up!”
Fluttershy felt tears roll down her face as she looked pleadingly at the party pony. Pinkie was wearing a necklace of severed unicorn horns, each different colors. Her dress was emblazoned with cutie marks of all sorts. She saw the familiar cloud with rainbow lightning near the earth pony’s left flank. It was stitched onto the crude dress, connecting with those of 2 candy canes and a bat.
“Well, if we hurry along, you’ll be able to see those butterflies, Shy!”
She skipped over to a podium, where a red light flashed. She pounded her hoof onto it, and two huge metal columns came crashing down, crushing the bones in Fluttershy’s wings instantly. The yellow pony screamed at the sudden pain and loss of connection to her wings. Tears poured from her eyes like a never ending waterfall. The bars were raised and vanished from sight. Pinkie skipped over to her broken wings.
Bits and pieces of broken bone pierced through the skin, and they splintered the muscle and tissue with every attempted movement. Fluttershy furiously bit her lip and looked away as Pinkie prodded them with her hooves, smearing them with blood as it sputtered out of the vessels that were broken. The wings fluttered every time the broken pegasus tried to move them. Pinkie had an idea, and vanished from sight, worrying Fluttershy to death.
She pops into view again moments later with an iron mask protecting her face, and a flamethrower. Fluttershy started to panic and thrash around, trying desperately to loosen the leather restraints. Pinkie starts the flamethrower, which produces a blue sub-zero flame. The party pony directs the flames to the broken feathery wings. Fluttershy bit her lip in a desperate attempt to not scream. Pinkie moved to Fluttershy’s opposite side and repeated the process on her other wing. When she was done, she kicked the metal supports away from Fluttershy’s damaged wings. They stayed suspended in the air. Fluttershy tried to flap them, but to no avail. She had lost the feeling in both of her wings when Pinkie finished melting them in place. The party pony skipped in front of Fluttershy; the broken pegasus fighting back tears.
“Gee, Shy, you look like those butterflies ponies put in boxes after flattening their wings and sticking nails through them.”
The broken pegasus pony’s ears perked up at this. She sniffled.
“W-What? Ponies do that?”
Pinkie nodded enthusiastically.
“Yep! Well, not really, but I DO!!”
Pinkie shoved a box in Fluttershy’s teary face. The front of it had a glass cover, and inside the box were several butterflies, 3 of them matching the color schemes of the ones on Fluttershy’s flanks. They all had their wings stretched out in place, and they each had a long nail sticking out of their abdomen. Fluttershy, needless to say, was utterly horrified. She gave Pinkie the Stare.
“Ooooh! So scary! Fluttershy, I should have you know that the Stare does not affect me. You can Stare at me all you want, and I’ll still off with you. Why? Well, if you haven’t realized, your number came up, just after Dash. And then after you is a unicorn, I’ll have to check the list again.”
The yellow pegasus pony hung her head in defeat, the Stare having failed her. Her wings stood suspended in the air which stunk of melted tissue, rotting flesh, and Celestia knows what else.
At that moment, an idea sparked inside Pinkie’s mind. She disappeared from view, and returned moments later with the biggest rust needle or nail Fluttershy has ever seen. Her ears fell, and she bit her lip anxiously, waiting to see what her twisted “friend” will do. Then she remembered.
The butterflies in the box had their wings stretched and a needle impaled through their abdomen. Fluttershy screamed as she realized what will happen to her. Pinkie straightened the iron bed she was restrained to so that the pegasus and earth pony were at eye level. Pinkie raised the needle, and aimed. Fluttershy could only watch herself die.
“Well, it was nice knowing you, Shy!”
Pinkie lurched forward, impaling the needle into Fluttershy’s stomach. She immediately died, her eyes rolled back to her head and blood dripped silently from her mouth onto the rusty nail. Her stomach acids start to dissolve her insides as the juices seep through the rest of her body, for the needle pierced a baseball sized hole in her stomach.
With Fluttershy rotting away, Pinkie goes to get the cages sitting behind her. She releases them, and chemically-modified butterflies, vampire finches, and blind rats scurry about. She carefully picks up the butterflies by their wings and sticks them on the pegasus’s corpse. They start to suck at her blood, and pierce holes in her eyes, tongue, and everywhere. The party pony took long tweezers and picked up the birds and rats, placing them in the hole in Fluttershy. The birds sipped at the blood, and the rats started digging through her flesh, and eating some of it.
“Ok, you guys have fun while I bring in the rest of the party!”
Pinkie went over to another side of the cellar and took another cage over to the dead body of what was once Fluttershy. She opened the door, and poured the bunnies over the corpse. These bunnies included Fluttershy’s personal, Angel Bunny. She, as well as the rest of the rabbits, were modified. They were exposed to radioactive gases and MIT that reacted to water, which created a deadly gas that killed several of the bunnies. This exposure to Angel caused her sanity to snap, and she went crazy. It also mutated her, forcing a parasitic twin to grow on her back. The bunnies were foaming at the mouth, and they lurched forward after being dumped, digging holes in the corpse, and eating away at the organs. Angel hopped towards her mouth, and ate and eye and started to nibble at the tongue.
Pinkie sat in one of the bony chairs, and watched the show. Pieces of organs and flesh flung out in all directions as the crazed animals pecked and ate away at the animal loving pony. The butterflies’ holes that were pierced into Fluttershy quickly grew infected, and pus seeped out everywhere.
After about 5 minutes, Pinkie heard some crazed laughter. She turned her head to the left, and saw one of her previous victims, who had unknowingly survived Pinkie’s craze. The alicorn, who was known as JacsonPollock, had survived being sliced into two, losing her right eye after it was extracted, and having her feathers plucked (even though they grew back) and horn chipped to the point that she was barely able to use magic. Pinkie waved at the pony who had long since lost her sanity. She was the “cleaner,” getting rid of leftover flesh. This job soon formed her diet, making her cannibalistic.
“Oh, there you are, JacksonPollock!”
The pony came and sort of sat in front of the pink party pony. Blood, foam, and pus dripped from her mouth, and pieces of flesh stuck in her rotting teeth. In between crazed laughter, she spoke.
“Of course! I’m finished; go ahead!”
The rainbow colored alicorn turned her head, and fluttered her wings, levitating her slightly. Even though her feathers were plucked, they managed to grow back. She “flew” over to the corpse. She landed, and with a powerful heave, she forced her half body up onto the table, making it fall to the bedside position. She lowered her head to Fluttershy’s once beautiful face, which was now nothing more than a piece of rotting flesh, in which parts of her skull and lower jaw was exposed. The blood coated alicorn sunk her jagged teeth into the mutilated face, ferociously tearing away at bone, trying to get at the flesh.
Pinkie watched as the animals fled, and pieces of bone started flinging out from the direction of the corpse.
Minutes later, JacksonPollock retreated to a dark corner of the cellar, and Fluttershy was nothing more than a skeleton, having been deprived of her organs and flesh after JacksonPollock. Pinkie facehoofed herself after a few seconds.
“Oh darn it! I’ll never be able to have her forever now! But oh well! Who’s number is up next?”
Pinkie walked over to another table in the back of the room, where a big stack of blood stained papers laid. She flipped through the pages of red X’s until she found the one with Rainbow Dash’s name on it. She took a bloody hoof, and X’d Fluttershy’s name. She looked at the name below it, and it was indeed a unicorn.
It was Twilight Sparkle.
“Woohoo! This’ll be fun!”
