The team at MK12 did an amazing job on this. FOLLOW THE SUN is a short film that MK12 made as an opening act to FITC's tenth anniversary conference in Toronto. FITC also commissioned MK12 to assist in the branding of this year's event. FITC is a touring international design & technology conference whose guest speakers are often luminaries in their fields, from web engineers to party promoters. While the film is an homage to drivein intermission reels of years past, MK12's branding of the festival itself focused on typographic designs inspired by the nonsequitur messaging found in those reels, which becomes even more nonsequitur when taken out of context.
