I was browsing the internet like any other day, but this time I was looking for a game to play on my new Windows XP Laptop I just got.

I had found a few, none fitting my expectations.The website I was browsing flashed back to Google.

Hmm. I clicked on the search box and began to type. Fallout 1 Working download for Windows XP DOS. Before I even hit enter, it opened!

I must have accidentally hit the "Lucky Button" by accident. It opened up a website with a few pictures of Fallout. I clicked the download button and extracted it to my C:\dosgame folder. It brought up a folder full of weird things. I noticed something called weird exe. I clicked it.

The .exe was fallout. I got a bit excited as it looked perfect. But then the monitor changed a little and the shading was replaced with colorful dots. I figured this was a normal glitch with most Fallout games nowadays. But it was strange that I didn't need a DOS emulator.

The game ran nicely, to say the least. I clicked on the "Create A Character" button and went to change her age. As soon as I clicked Female, The screen went pink. I couldn't see anything but the negative colors. I changed the age and tried my best to configure the rest. I clicked the button to enter.

"So another player joins..." a deep voice came from my headphones. The screen went black and the game crashed. I closed my laptop and put it away. It was late and I was tired. It was time to retire for the night.

The next day, my desktop was changed with a picture of the Fallout Player. He just stays there. Watching me. My desktop had Fallout on it this time. I went back to that website and read the comments.

"This game wont work" was what most said. I was stuck. I had nowhere to go. Should I give up now? Give up my computer to the depths of hell? No. I would fight back. I opened up Fallout and it dropped me instantly outside of the Vault. I looked around the map. Normal. A rat walked up to me and I attacked. The screen went black and the rat killed me. I heard strange death sounds and then the black faded into Fallout. My character was gutted open. Blood was leaking from his eyes and his mouth. He lay in a puddle. The rat went inside of him and took out his stomach, which he violently ate. Then I heard another voice. "The game will continue to play. But will you?" What the fuck is wrong with my Fallout? This is scaring me shitless and I'm afraid it's only begun. I got Hypercam and began to film this time. Hoping to get some evidence. I filmed my short gameplay before the rat gutted me in an even more violent way. Then the game crashed without any voice.

I went to upload it to YouTube, but the file had been deleted. My Hypercam video folder was gone. My computer started changing from restarting windows explorer to changing the desktop to my gutted character. Then, I had a new idea. I ported the game over to my PC. I ran it a couple times but it wouldn't work. My laptop completely died on me, so now I can't even try to solve this. I smashed my laptop against my desk in rage, but all it did was make everything fall out, including the harddrive..

So today I swapped out my Hard Drive and ran Fallout from my PC. it ran like normal. No glitches or anything. I started killing off the rats before the screen went black again. I sighed, as I knew what would happen now. A terrible shriek came from the speakers, the screen came back and my character was dead. His blood was all over the walls. His head was gone. I started to freak out.

This log was written as the events took place.

Police now report of people dying simultaneously. The only thing the police found as evidence, the Hard Drive and Fallout running on the victims' monitor. Urging them to come and play. I survived.
