Epic Mickey Music with Choir Children: Small World Clock Tower Boss (a.k.a. WHAT HAVE I DONE?!) is a video on YouTube created by user skellington15 who added the lyrics of the original ride from Disneyland into the video game's boss theme after a friend suggested him the idea. What he didn't know at the time was that this was the ORIGINAL intention by Warren Spector and Junction Point Studios that was removed due to copyright.

The music can be heard here and the full concept of the Clock Tower can be found here.

Plot so far

Mickey Mouse has been dragged into the Wasteland, a dark and twisted version of the Magic Kingdom, by the Shadow Blot (not to be confused with the Phantom Blot). After escaping Dark Beauty Castle, Mickey begins his journey across Gremlin Village, a twisted version of the Small World attraction, to find a way to escape the Wasteland. After traveling through a projector of Steam Boat Willie Part III, Mickey comes face to face with the front of the attraction. As you arrive, the Clock Tower's face turns from a simple, yet creepy, smile into a deranged grin of insanity as giant mechanical arms pop out to crush Mickey, forcing you to either befriend it by painting his arms to give you a lift to its face so you can befriend it and give you a lift to the exit or thin its arms so that they get destroyed the next time it throws an arm, followed by the clock's destruction and a path to the exit via his arms and face ast platforms.

Junction Point's Original Boss Concept

Original Concept

In the original version of the boss fight, the Clock Tower had an alternate way to befriend it. After painting his arms and hitching a ride on one of his hands, the face would open up to reveal a hidden record player playing a warped version of It's a Small World that you simply smash and continue the game. This original concept of the boss is hinted at from the name of the pins "Stop the Music" and "Unwind the Clock"

The Original Boss Theme

When Junction Point was first planing the game, the Clock Tower's theme was actually going to have the lyrics of It's a Small World in it. However, due to copyright issues, they could not use the actual song lyrics and had to use an instrumental version that you hear now. This change also affected the Paint tactic involving the record player.

The Bleeding Clock Tower

By using a Chroma Key effect, skellington15 also created a BLEEDING Clock Tower effect during the Clock Tower's destruction that has also gotten a lot of attention.

Disneyland Halloween Clock Tower Rumors

Months before the beginning of Disneyland's Halloween Time 2011, rumors began to float around the web about the Clock Tower getting an "upgrade" for Halloween, obviously talking about the Epic Mickey Clock Tower. The argument was always "If Disney can make a 50 ft. animatronic dragon and special effects across Small World's background seen during "The Magic, the Memories, and You", why can't they make two giant arms supported by hidden cranes and a colored background to match?" Obviously the rumors were false... until they were started up again when Disney announced a sequel currently in the works.
