So I was moving home, after three years at the previous domicile the time came to move on, most of the time I welcomed change but this time I wanted to stay, either way I looked at it there was nothing I could do about it,
The new house was quite nice, I expected it to be older and smaller than my last home but I was mildly surprised by what was to come, anyway we moved in and started re-decorating the usual stuff, then came the time to choose who went in what room and after being stuck with a small room previously I wanted a bigger one, needless to say however my request fell on deaf ears and I was put into the 2nd smallest room, right at the end of the corridor opposite the stairs.
The first few weeks were good, on the 2nd day in there I had already set up my Wii and I was happy playing Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Wii Sports for a while,
This is where things began to get strange,
One night, one ordinary night, I decided to get an early night's sleep (playing games constantly til' very late hours didn't help) and before you know it I was drifting away slowly.
I awoke in the middle of the night with a dry throat, I tried to cough and I even tried questioning myself as to why my throat could be so dry but.....no voice, I couldn't speak, the only thing I had on my mind at this point was getting a drink of water to help my throat so I made my way across my small room and opened the door...
What happened next I haven't been able to answer.
Upon opening the door and looking straight down the corridor at the top of the stairs I was greeted by an unimaginable feeling of fear and what appeared to be a woman clothed in white with a horrifying face and a repulsive scream, flying up the stairs making a beeline straight for me, I quickly closed the door and got back into bed, however i can't remember falling asleep from it or waking up in the morning,Another night not so far away I experienced something else unusual, I awoke again with dry throat unable to speak or focus my vision, after a few seconds a blurry figure slowly came into vision as it stood over my bed, I couldn't do anything but stare back at its feature-less face.
Again i have no recollection of falling back asleep or waking in the morning
Were they dreams? or were they drastic cases of Hypnogogia?
This I do not know....
