Creepypasta Short Film

Added by BrushguyCreepypasta was a short film created by Ridgway Films in 2011. It was written and directed by Elliott Ridgway, and stars Phil Ridgway (as Stanley), Anton Ridgway (as the creepy old man and the postman), Elliott Ridgway (as the Ghost Pokémon) and Maureen Thomas (as the pedestrian).
The story is based loosely on the Pokémon Black creepypasta story and the Ben / Majora's Mask creepypasta story. The story revolves around Stanley, an unsuspecting video game aficionado who meets a creepy old man at a yard sale. The old man shows Stanley an old, black Game Boy cartridge (simply labeled "Pokemon") and tells him he can have it for free. As Stanley walks away with the cartridge, the old man shouts "Goodbye Ben!"
Back at home, Stanley plays the game, but proceeds to get more and more creeped out by the differences between Pokémon Red/Blue and this game (i.e. the Ghost Pokémon from the Lavender Tower can be caught, it has a special move called CURSE that kills other Pokémon and their trainers, etc.). His fear of the game increases when the Ghost Pokémon begins to send Stanley personal messages.
Weirded out by the game, Stanley resolves to get rid of it. The remainder of the film chronicles his attempts to rid himself of the haunted cartridge.
