Astral Projection is a phenomenon that occurs during sleep. It is speculated that during this time, while a person sleeps, their soul leaves their body. The soul is free to wander the world as it knows it. But, there are still perils in this world.
The first problem is that, while your soul wanders, other souls that still have not passed into the next life may enter your body and claim it as their own. That would leave your soul to wander for eternity.
The second problem is that, if your body were to somehow be destroyed, not only would your soul not be able to return to a body, but your soul would also not be able to pass on to the next life. Your soul would wander forever, unless you found and souless sleeping body.
But what is the worst problem of all?
The third, last, and worst problem involves a mirror. If you were to sleep at night, I'd advise against staring at a mirror. "Why?" You may ask. Well, if a soul, unprotected by the body, were to gaze in to a mirror, it would be imprisoned within the reflection. The body would never awaken, and the people who would consider you dead at that point would never guess that you were actually being tortured within a mirror.
Certain people have had this happen to them. Some of them manage to escape the mirror, but only for a while. They are now famous, and considered ghosts, however, this is not the proper name for them. They are merely lost souls. One of these famous people is known today as Bloody Mary.
There is another person in this situation, This person is not famous, however, this person is the most important person you'll hear of. This person has warned you about the dangers. This person is trapped, forever, but they wanted to warned you. Now that they have fulfilled their task, they will return to their prison.
I really should return. I can't stay away from my mirror for too long.
